Delete Your Account

You can delete your Catharsis Cards account and all associated personal data at any time — directly from the app or by contacting us.

How to delete in the app

Open the app and go to your Profile

Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.

Open Account Settings

Tap the settings icon, then select Account Settings.

Tap "Delete Account"

Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account and personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Data On deletion
Email address and display name Deleted
Profile avatar Deleted
Liked cards and personal reflections Deleted
Streak and app preferences Deleted
Circle session answers and votes Retained — your answers remain visible to other participants of that session. Contact us to request removal.
Subscription status (device-local) Cleared on uninstall — managed by Apple / Google, not by us.

Can't access the app?

Request deletion by email

If you're unable to delete your account from within the app, email us from the address associated with your account and we'll process the deletion manually within 30 days.

Include the email address linked to your account in your message.
